A few days and nights in the vibrant Catalan Mediterranean metropolis are the perfect end to a hiking holiday on the GR-92!<br \/>\nTo make your short stay in Barcelona a relaxing city trip, we have put together a few tips here:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Deposit extra luggage in Barcelona:<\/strong>\u00a0If you arrive via Barcelona Airport, you will have to go to the city centre or the Plaza Catalunya on the way to the starting point of the hike in Portbou anyway (see also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.costabrava-wandern.de\/en\/arrival-to-the-costa-brava\/\">Arrival<\/a>). On this occasion, a suitcase with fresh clothes suitable for the big city can be deposited in the luggage locker. Info under <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lockerbarcelona.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.lockerbarcelona.com<\/a>This provider is centrally located in the immediate vicinity of Plaza Catalunya. Lockers of various sizes are available from around \u20ac3.50 per day (long-term rentals are usually somewhat cheaper on request).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pickpocketing:<\/strong>\u00a0Barcelona is unfortunately considered a stronghold of pickpockets in Europe. Valuables should therefore be stored in the hotel locker as a precaution. Bags and backpacks should never be placed loosely next to a chair or table, but should at least be secured with a chair leg.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Popular neighbourhoods:<\/strong>\u00a0For those who want to immerse themselves in the life of this extraordinary city for a few days, we recommend accommodation in one of the following districts:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--Die Costa Brava endet kurz nach Lloret de Mar an der Tordera-Flussm\u00fcndung. Der \"Cam\u00ed de Ronda\" und damit auch unsere Costa-Brava-K\u00fcstenwanderung ist hier zu Ende. Der offizielle GR 92 ist jedoch noch um einiges l\u00e4nger und sogar Teil des europ\u00e4ischen Fernwanderwegs E 10. An der Tordera-Flussm\u00fcndung biegt der GR 92 im weiteren Verlauf ins Hinterland ab, umrundet Barcelona und f\u00fchrt weiter bis zum Ebro-Flussdelta bei Amposta. Allerdings sind hier auf einigen Abschnitten die \u00dcbernachtungsm\u00f6glichkeiten rar ges\u00e4t, so dass das Wandern hier beschwerlicher wird. Deshalb haben wir uns\u00a0bei der Costa-Brava-K\u00fcstenwanderung auf\u00a0den gut erschlossenen Teil des GR 92 konzentriert.\nAnstatt den Ballungsraum <strong>Barcelona<\/strong> m\u00fchevoll zu umgehen, empfehlen wir den Wanderurlaub lieber mit einem <strong>St\u00e4dtetripp<\/strong> zu verbinden!
